HSBC Writes Down Byju’s, Once $22 Billion Indian Edtech Giant, To Zero

HSBC said in a note to clients that it was downgrading Prosus’s 10% stake in Byju’s, once the most valuable Indian startup, to zero.

“We assign zero value to Byju’s stake amid multiple legal cases and funding crunch,” the bank said.
